Bring Your Own Key (BYOK)
Connect supported public, private-cloud, or on-prem providers using your own API keys.

Routing policy is configured under Governance. Incompatible requests are blocked before inference.
Gateway Plan
Preconfigured access to the Vercel AI Gateway with an included inference budget. Multi-provider access without managing your own keys. Admins allocate that included Gateway budget through Budgets.
