Withdrawal Notice

This notice applies to consumers within the meaning of section 13 of the German Civil Code (BGB) who purchase Steinkauz Cloud under a distance contract. Business customers (section 14 BGB) have no statutory right of withdrawal.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period expires fourteen days from the day the contract is concluded.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us,

Steinkauz AI
Owner: Fabian Werling
Salierstraße 7
67346 Speyer, Germany
Email: contact@steinkauz.ai

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (for example, a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

You may also declare your withdrawal using the publicly accessible Withdraw from contract function. We will acknowledge receipt of that declaration by email without delay.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will use the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

If you requested that the services begin during the withdrawal period, you must pay us an amount proportionate to the services provided up to the time you informed us of your exercise of the right of withdrawal, compared with the full coverage of the contract.

Steinkauz Cloud is a digital service without physical delivery. Provisions concerning the return of goods therefore do not apply.

Expiry of the right of withdrawal for digital services

For a service contract, the right of withdrawal expires under section 356(5) BGB once we have fully performed the service, provided that performance began only after you gave your express consent and simultaneously acknowledged that you would lose your right of withdrawal upon our full performance of the contract.

Activating access or beginning to use Steinkauz Cloud does not constitute full performance of the ongoing subscription. This alone does not extinguish your right of withdrawal. A free trial remains free even if you withdraw.

Model withdrawal form

(If you wish to withdraw from the contract, please complete and return this form, provided that the right of withdrawal still exists.)
