Detailed Usage Statistics & Cost Breakdown

Steinkauz shows you usage and costs so you can see how much you have used and what it costs. This transparency helps you stay within budget and compare models.

What you see

• Usage over time — How much you have used (e.g. tokens or requests) in a given period. You may see totals or breakdowns by model or provider.
• Cost breakdown — For Gateway plans, costs are tied to your included inference budget and any overage. For BYOK, you pay providers directly; the app may still show usage (e.g. token counts) so you can correlate with your provider bills.
• Balance or budget — If your plan has an inference budget, you can see how much remains or how much you have used. The app may notify you as you approach your limit.

Exact metrics (tokens, requests, currency) depend on how the app presents them; check Settings → Usage or the equivalent usage or billing area.

Where to find it

Open Usage (or Settings → Usage) from the main navigation or settings. There you can view current period usage, history, and cost breakdown where applicable.

Gateway vs BYOK

• Gateway plans: Usage counts against your plan’s monthly inference budget. We do not add markup to provider rates for included budget. If you exceed the budget, you may need to upgrade or switch to BYOK.
• BYOK: We do not bill you for inference. Usage is for your reference; you pay each provider according to their pricing. Use the usage stats to track consumption on your provider accounts.
